El fin de semana del 11 y 12 de Octubre se dio cita en la ciudad catalana la primera edicion del Barcelona Extreme Sports Festival, un evento internacional que reunia a los mejores riders de FMX, BMX, skate, wakeboard y Rollerblading.

Borja fue invitado a participar y a pesar de sufrir una pequeña lesion en la pierna el dia de las clasificatorias, paso a la final y pudo reunir fuerzas para competir en la final del domingo y quedar en segunda posicion detras del holandes Sven Boekhorst. Felicidades Borja.

Last weekend (October 11th-12th) the first edition of the Barcelona Extreme Sports Festival was held, and international event that holded together the best riders in FMX, BMX, Skate, wakeboard and Rollerblading.

Borja was invited to come and even due to a small injury on his leg on the qualifing day, he advanced to the finals and finally could make it to skate in the finals and get a good 2nd place just behind Sven Bohekhorst from holland. Congrats Borja.

Durante el 26, 27 y 28 de Septiembre se celebraron en Busan, (Corea) los Trex Games, un evento con el apoyo del comite olimpico internacional que reune a los mejores deportistas de todo el mundo de los deportes tradicionales, los nuevos deportes y -por primera vez en la historia - los deportes extremos.

Borja fue uno de los riders invitados para hacer unas exhibiciones de halfpipe junto con los hermanos Yasutoko, ademas de bikers y skaters internacionales.

Esperemos que esto trascienta y que sea el primero de muchos eventos con el comite olimpico internacional de por medio.

During September 26th-28th in the korean city of Busan, the Trex Games were held. An event with the international olimpic comitee involved that puts together the best athletes in world coming to compete in traditional sports, new sports and - for the first time in history - extreme sports.

Borja was one of the invited riders to do the vert demos together with the Yasutoko brothers, as well as with some international bikers and skateboarder.

We hope this will be the first of many events with the international olimpic comitee involved.

Despues de la temporada de nieve, empieza de nuevo la temporada rollerblading con el “Broken Bones Tour”. Esta competicion es la vuelta del campeonato de España que se hacia hace años en la peninsula y Borja ha participado en la primera parada en Terrassa (Barcelona) a pesar de su reciente lesion de clavicula.

La competición de vert estuvo reñida entre el rider ingles Rich Parker y Borja. Parecia que cualquiera de los dos podia llevarse el campeonato, pero finalmente fue Rich debido a un fallo de Borja en su ronda.

As the snow season is over, the Rollerblading season starts with the “Broken Bones Tour”. This contest thakes back the Spanish Championships that used to be held years ago and Borja has been there competing in the first stop in Terrassa (Spain) even he was still recovering from his collarbone injury.

The vert comp was being battled between britishman rider Rich Parker and Borja. It looked like anyone of those two could have taken it, but I was finally Rich due to a miss in Borja’r run.
